Madhur, Kangana and Mugdha Unveil Fashion Movie onn Mobile

Mumbai, June 4 : Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar and actors Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse unveiled audio cinema on mobile phones here on Wednesday.

This technological innovation introduced by UTV New Media Ltd offers movie enthusiasts a one-hour audio version of their favourite films with dialogues, narration and story substance only at rupees six per minute.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhandarkar said he was very happy to be associated with UTV initiative and, as "Fashion" was a huge hit, its dialogue would now be available on mobile service.

He said the technology would make both directors and dialogue writers more attentive to the quality of their dialogues.

"This technology is a big achievement in itself. Every filmmaker will now concentrate more on dialogues, because when you listen to dialogues, you should like it also. So, I think the dialogue writer's responsibility will increase when producers come to know about this medium, which can generate more revenue. Naturally, the director and producer will give more importance to dialogues," Bhandarkar said.

Ranaut also talked about her favourite dialogue in the movie "Fashion".

"My personal favourite dialogue in the movie is when I tell Priyanka Chopra "Yeh jagah hi kuch aise hai, kab kya badal jaye kuch pata nahi chalta" It's a very strong, " said Ranaut.

Audio cinema will be made available through various service providers including Idea, Vodafone, Airtel Mobile and Reliance.
